Set in a tranquil, rural location in 5 acres of land, Trullo Fedelle is the perfect place to wind down and relax. The sensitively restored trullo is surrounded by olive trees as well as fig, cherry, quince, pomegranate, plum, walnut and almond trees, and you are welcome to help yourself to whatever is in season.
Trullo Fedelle is a magical building, over 300 hundred year’s old in parts, with vaulted ceilings, stunning internal stonework and dramatic arches. We have managed to retain these impressive structural features at the same time as transforming the trullo into a comfortable place to stay with all the modern facilities you require.
The well-equipped kitchen has double doors that open out to a vine-covered pergola. With a seating and dining area overlooking the garden, this is the perfect place to relax with a glass of local wine, sit and read, or enjoy a candlelit dinner.
The trullo is located in the famous Val d’Itria and is perfectly placed to explore the cultural diversity of Puglia. The historical town of Ceglie Messapica is 5km away. This ‘centre of gastronomy’ is home to some of the best restaurants in Puglia as well as a weekly market (Saturday), artisan shops selling homemade pasta, bread and pastries, fresh meat, fish and local delicacies and convenient supermarkets. Nearby is the white city of Ostuni as well as the picturesque towns of Cisternino, Martina Franca and, of course, Alberobello the ‘city of trullos’. The glorious sandy beaches of the Adriatic and Ionian coasts are also not far.
